The reason I enjoy this video so much isn’t because it is super funny (although I enjoy this whole series) but rarther the name of the fictional author in the poster is “Fuzzy Dunlop” who is the imaginary confidential informant Herc and Carver create in The Wire to try to funnel funds to buy a tiny camera for surveillance.

A orilla de la carretera 57, en su circulación de San Luis Potosí a Nuevo León, una figura comienza a distinguirse entre una arbolada, seguido de pequeñas manchas blancas que parecen copos de nieve en medio de la tierra desértica, la velocidad me hace pasar de alto, tengo que tomar el próximo retorno, pero no existe, la única opción, meterme a la terracería y levantar una nube de polvo que se rehusa disolverse, cruzo la carretera plagada de viajeros que van y vienen.
El ruído de los camiones que pasan a nuestro lado es casi ensordecedor, pero su mirada es tranquila y serena, no tiene miedo de ellos, en sus más de tres décadas de pastor dice que ha sobrevivido a todo, mordeduras de cascabel, peleas con coyotes, caídas de barrancos, a días sin comer, y ahí sigue, en pie, un verdadero héroe de acción disfrazado de pastor.
